Skin Cancer

This clinical research study will examine the safety and effectiveness of two different treatments for people with melanoma. Eligible volunteers must be 18 and older with ECOG 0 or 1 who test negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and who are not pregnant, nursing, or have brain metastasis.

The research site is in St. Joseph, Mo.

Allergies & Asthma

This study for people 12 to 75 will evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational lozenge for preventing allergy symptoms. Participants will have three office visits over eight weeks and be compensated up to $300.00 for time and travel. Allergy tests will be conducted for a limited time only in the month of August to determine study eligibility.

The research site is in Dallas, Texas.

High Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia)

Candidates 18-80 who have high cholesterol may be eligible for this study, which will include up to six visits over approximately 18 weeks. Participants will receive study-related physical exams, investigational medication, and dietary counseling at no cost. Compensation will be provided for time and travel.

The research site is in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
