Are genital moles normal?

Yes, though they're not common, some people do have moles on their genitals.

Men can get them on the scrotum, and women can get them on the labia, the folds of skin on either side of the genital area. In most cases they can be left well alone, but if they are prominent, or on a small stalk, and are uncomfortable, or rub on clothing, they can usually be easily removed.

And as with moles anywhere else, if they grow, change colour, bleed, or itch, then they should be checked out by a doctor. But even if you reckon your moles haven't changed, if you are concerned about them or just want it confirmed that they are moles, then go along and see your doctor or, if you prefer, your practice nurse.
