Every day is a real struggle
You may have fallen out of love with your husband but alternatively it could well be the depression severely affecting how you feel about him.
You feel negative about everything else so why should you feel differently about him? Being depressed is awful for you but it is also difficult living with someone who is depressed and negative and who appears not to want or love you.
You must go back to your GP, preferably with your husband, and discuss whether you are on the right medication. Also insist on a referral for some talking therapy. Medication only tackles the symptoms - you also need to get at the underlying causes.
Cognitive or psychodynamic therapy would be the best treatment. If you don't tackle the problem, your husband could reach the end of his tether and the marriage could break up once you recover from the depression you may really want to save this marriage.
If you find it's not viable, as you move out of your depression and become strong you would be in a better position to consider separation.
I recommend you contact the Depression Alliance help line on 020 7633 0101 or www.depressionalliance.org for further help and information about support groups
