As with any allergy, taking antihistamines would help, and the latest types, such as levocetirizine or desloratidine generally do not cause troublesome side effects.
You could take these on a day to day basis, depending on whether you were going to have much contact with the kittens. Your nasal symptoms -sneezing and that blocked up feeling - could be eased by using a steroid nasal spray, but for best effect you will have to use this all the time.
If you really are determined to keep the kittens (and remember they will soon grow into cats!) then try to limit where you let them go in your home. In particular you should make sure they stay out of your bedroom, or you will find you have miserable symptoms at night.
You may find that the more contact you have with the kittens, the worse your symptoms become, and if you find you start wheezing, then it may be time for a re-think about the effects they are having on your health.
