Neuroendocrine Carcinoma
The Folfox plus bevacizumab combination is being studied in patients with neuroendocrine tumors because Folfox appears to inhibit the growth of a variety of different tumor types but has not yet been tested in this disease. Participants must be 18 years or older, male or female with pathologic (histological or cytological) confirmation of neuroendocrine carcinoma. Research site located in San Francisco, Calif.
The primary purpose of this study is to determine whether treatment with an experimental gene therapy (Biobypass) will reduce angina in study participants by stimulating the growth of new blood vessels. Qualified participants must be between 18 and 80, have provided written informed consent prior to any study dictated procedure, and have moderate-to-severe angina (CCS Angina Class II-IV) despite optimal medical therapy.
