Is there a cure for sneezing?
It sounds as though you are suffering from allergic rhinitis. This is usually caused by an allergic reaction of the lining of the nose caused by something which has come into contact with it - in other words, something you've breathed.
House dust mites are a very common culprit, but as you've discovered, chemicals, such as perfumes, can be a trigger too. It can often be effectively treated with a steroid nasal spray, just like the ones people use for hayfever.
However, unlike hay fever sufferers, you will need to use it all year round. They are available on prescription from your GP, and if you are having to use one all the time, this will work out cheaper than buying a mild one from the chemist.
If you suffer really badly, then it would be worthwhile trying to find out exactly what you are allergic to, and the best way of doing this is to have a proper allergy test on the NHS.
A lot of the allergy testing done in health clubs and gyms really isn't terribly accurate and can be a waste of money. So see your GP for a referral.
