Anemia

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the efficacy of Epoetin alfa DT is equivalent to that of Epoetin alfa RB for the treatment of anemia in patients with CKD receiving hemodialysis. To qualify, you must have a diagnosis of CKD and be receiving hemodialysis for greater than or equal to three months. Minimum age is 18. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Lymphocytic Leukemia, Chronic

Geron Corp. is conducting a research study to determine the safety, tolerability, and maximum tolerated dose of an experimental study drug in people with relapsed or resistant chronic lymphocytic leukemia. To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, have active chronic lymphocytic leukemia that has relapsed from or resistant to prior treatment regimens, and have a life expectancy of at least three months. Shingles

Pain that occurs after an outbreak of shingles has healed is called post-herpetic neuralgia. Volunteers are needed to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia. You may qualify if you are 18 or older and you are experiencing pain at least three months after your shingles have healed. Research site located in Tucson, Ariz.
