Is it worth eating probiotic yoghurts?
If you already eat a good helping of bio yoghurt every day you may not need a probiotic supplement.
But the evidence that some sort of probiotic every day can help your health is growing stronger.
Research now indicates that lactobacilli and Bifido bacteria - the two main friendly bugs - can help everything from traveller's tummy, thrush and high cholesterol to allergies and stress.
And as you've said, some people find that their skin improves too.
As you can see I am quite a fan, and try to take a probiotic every day myself. You do need to commit to doing it very day though, otherwise the benefits simply don't last.
