Community Health Access Program: Seattle/King County, 800-756-5437; outside King County, 877-543-7669.
What it does: Helps those with low income or no insurance obtain health care. Focuses on children and pregnant women. Can sign up children for low-cost health insurance (CHIP, the state's Children's Health Insurance Program), or no-cost health insurance (Medicaid, the federally funded program parceled out through the states).

What it does: Helps people with low income obtain medical coverage for their children, either through Medicaid, the state's Basic Health Plan or other resources.
