Q I've been diagnosed with angina, which results in severe chest pain. Panic can set off an attack and I become incapacitated and have even been hospitalised. Do you know of any alternative therapies that might help me to reduce the stress that leads to attacks and so regain control of my life?

A Do you live in a fantasy land? And how did you surmise that she might find you attractive, let alone think you stand a chance of manipulating her into intimacy? You come across as completely self-obsessed. Her loud insistence that she is busy is very likely a large hint that she's not interested. The best advice I can give you is to just chill out. You've answered your question through your ramblings. Stop fantasising and start to look at life more realistically, that way you will find that people take you seriously.

Q Since we've been together, my wife has always been very demanding and thinks we can afford everything she sees. I've asked her to be more careful with money but she doesn't seem to take any notice.

She says that as she works, she can spend her wages on whatever she likes. Obviously, I don't want her to go without anything but she spends not only her wages but most of mine as well. We have so many expenses but, because of her spending, we are now seriously in debt.

Q It's not only about her ruining you both financially – you are being a total wimp and seem to have been from the start of this relationship. You should have set financial boundaries when you first realised how demanding she was. You're not being straight or firm with her about what is at stake here. I think your mistaken concern about not wanting her to do without is misplaced.

Do your sums, find out exactly where you stand financially and, if necessary, separate your bank accounts.
