Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) and Diabetes - Type 2
The aim of this clinical research study is to investigate the effectiveness and safety of an investigational drug in lowering blood pressure in patients with diabetes and hypertension.
Volunteers for this study must be 18 or older, have a doctor's diagnosis of high blood pressure and type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and cannot have had a mini stroke in the past 12 months or a history of myocardial infarction.
Research sites are located across the United States.

Crohn's Disease
This study will investigate the effectiveness of Remicade (generic name infliximab) and Imuran (generic name azathioprine) in the treatment of patients with moderate-to-severe Crohn's disease.
Eligible candidates should be at least 18-years-old, have had Crohn's Disease for at least 6 weeks, and have no history of treatment with azathioprine, infliximab, 6-mercaptopurine or 6-thioguanine.
Additionally, patients may not have had intra-abdominal surgery within the past 6 months or weigh more than 140 kg (310 lbs).

Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus
Volunteers between ages 18 and 60 with refractory cutaneous lupus erythematosus are needed to participate in a research study for a monoclonal antibody.
Patients who are generally in good health and must have been on a stable dose of any existing medications for 4 weeks may qualify. People with a history of HIV, tuberculosis, syphilis, hepatitis, spleen removal, severe allergic reactions, or alcohol or drug dependency or abuse will not be permitted to participate in this study.
