Here's what readers have had to say so far. Why not add your thoughts below?

As someone who, following surgery for colorectal cancer rejected the recommended follow-up treatment of 30 weeks of chemotherapy in favour of a more natural and holistic approach, I wish more cancer patients could know that there are genuine alternatives to the standard treatment meted out by the medical profession. For almost a year I have, under the guidance of a qualified nutritionist, been following an extremely strict dietary regime boosted by massive doses of top quality vitamins and minerals and much juicing....based on the Dr.Gerson therapies. I am feeling very well and passed my 12 month check-up with flying colours.

- Ursula Bates, Solihull, UK

I agree, it seems everything now is being linked to cancer. Of course its useful to know a fair bit about the causes, but I personally would not stop drinking soft drinks to prevent it. I feel we all need to loosen up.
But then again I don't have any friends or relatives with cancer.

- Geo, DK

Is there anything that ISN'T linked to cancer?

- Maria Connelly, Lanarkshire, Scotland
