No. 1 Texas (7-0) vs No. 6 Oklahoma State (7-0)
Here is something new, another top-ranked team is taking on Texas. This time it’s undefeated Oklahoma State visiting the Longhorns. It will be another Big 12 shootout as both teams rank in the top 5 in scoring. Texas has won 10 straight meetings to improve to 20-2 in the all-time series, but with both defenses running on all cylinders, scores should be in the high 20s. Look for this to be a foot race and not so much of a battle for line dominance.

No. 2 Alabama (7-0) at Tennessee (3-4)
Alabama looks to reverse its recent trend of poor second halves when it visits Tennessee. The Tide has been outscored 78-55 after the intermission. Bama has not won consecutive games over the Vols since 1991-92 and hasn’t posted a road win since 2002. However, this year is a little different. The Tide is on a roll and Tennessee is on a slide. The days of Peyton Manning at Vol’s helm are over…sorry…back to being average.

No. 3 Penn State (8-0) at No. 9 Ohio State (7-1)
This should be called the Big Ten title game, as takes as Ohio State hosts Penn State. The Nittany Lions look to snap a 10-game road losing streak against ranked opponents and beat OSU in Columbus for the first time since 1978. The Buckeyes have won 12 of their last 13 conference home games against ranked opponents. I am totally on the PSU band wagon, but this could wind up being a spoiler. If the Lions can start their running game early, and open up the play action pass - consider the game won.

No. 4 Oklahoma (6-1) at Kansas State (4-3)
The Sam Bradford show is scheduled to blow through its next stop in Manhattan when Oklahoma travels to Kansas State. After passing for a school-record 468 yards last week, Bradford faces a Wildcats defense that’s ranked 93rd in pass defense. K-State has some power but nothing like the Sooners. It is essentially Superman vs. Robin in a fist fight.

No. 5 USC (5-1) at Arizona (5-2)
After a rout for the record books against Washington State, USC looks to keep rolling against Arizona. The Trojans have outscored their opponents 141-10 since falling to Oregon State. The Wildcats are riding high after taking out Cal last week. Though they have some of the hottest chicks in the country - Arizona is about to get spanked.

No. 7 Georgia (6-1) at No. 13 LSU (5-1)
LSU begins a five-game home stand when Georgia comes to town for the first time since 2003. A loss could knock either team out of national-title contention, but LSU has won six consecutive games against top-10 opponents. Being at home spikes LSU up some power points, look for LSU to upset.

No. 8 Texas Tech (7-0) at No. 23 Kansas (5-2)
It is on for Texas Tech. After not facing a ranked opponent all season, the Red Raiders begin a stretch of four games in a row against ranked foes, starting with Kansas. Tech leads the nation in passing while the Jayhawks are 99th in pass defense. KU has lost nine of its 10 all-time meetings with the Red Raiders. And now that TT has a walk-on kicker from some student activities contest, this game should probably get more publicity than it deserves.

No. 10 Florida (5-1) vs Kentucky (5-2)
Florida aims to continue its dominance of Kentucky when the teams meet in the Swamp. The Gators, who are coming off a bye week, have won 21 straight against the Wildcats. Kentucky, which is 3-24 in this series when the Gators are ranked, has not defeated a top-10 opponent on the road since beating No. 4 Penn State 24-20 in 1977. If Florida loses this, look for them to drop to the mid 20s in the ranking, but should still have some kind of bowl contention.
