Just when it appeared David Beckham had exhausted all conceivable hair styles, David Beckham has unveiled yet another brand new look.

The LA Galaxy star and noted hair chameleon has turned his already short locks into a severe military buzz cut that is seemingly inspired by Jake Gyllenhaal's crop in the 2005 war film Jarhead.

He first showed off his look at New York restaurant Nobu before heading on to a fundraiser at Gotham Hall to benefit Harlem Youth Soccer.

He presented a lifetime achievement award to Pele at the event, saying: "For me to be here to present this to the greatest sportsmen of all time, I feel particularly honoured."
